Alexander Garsden

COMPOSER

Alexander Garsden is a multi-disciplinary sound artist who works in the fields of contemporary and improvised music.

His compositions employ improvised elements alongside highly complex notation, drawing on spectral harmonic devices and a broad timbral palette in pursuit of a constantly explorative musical language.

Alexander grew up in rural New South Wales and is currently based in Melbourne, Australia.
